Alb Artists is seeking submissions from contemporary Albanian-American artists for our upcoming exhibition, Rrënjët, taking place this November in New York City.
The word rrënjët means “roots,” and this show celebrates the deep cultural connections, memories, and traditions that unite us, no matter where our paths have taken us. We invite artists whose work reflects heritage, identity, and the Albanian diaspora experience, told through any medium including visual art, photography, sculpture, mixed media, installation, performance, or sound.
Eligibility
Open to artists of Albanian heritage currently residing in the tri-state area (NY, NJ, CT) who can attend the exhibition
Must be 18 years or older
Work should reflect Albanian culture, heritage, or identity through the lens of the diaspora
Deadline to Apply: September 30th, 2025
